RESEARCH INTEREST AND SPECIALTIES
Interested in research in biomechanics body/machine interaction, particularly bone remodeling, bone and implants interactions, implant design, biodynamics, modeling of cervical spine, head and neck injuries, also in computational mechanics, boundary element method, fracture/damage of materials, mathematical modeling, and mechanical systems analysis, design and manufacturing.
Skillful in engineering practice in CAD/CAM hardware and software using Finite Element and Boundary Element methods and software such as; ABAQUS, ANSYS, NASTRAN, I DEAS, BEASY, CGS, SMUG, CADAM, AUTOCAD, CADKEY, and SAP codes. Specialized in simulation of automated manufacturing processes, design, Finite Element, stress/fracture analysis, dynamics, and vibration and Accident Reconstruction.
PARTICULAR EXPERTISE
- Design defects and failure of materials, manufacturing processes and instrumentations and machines.
- Biomechanics of accidental injuries in sports and automotive, head and neck, spine, seatbelt, and air-bags, body/machine interaction.
- Automotive Accident Reconstruction and biomechanics of passenger’s injuries.
- Stress, fatigue and fracture analysis of all products using state-of-the-art finite element modeling and analysis.
- Knee and hip implant failure; Design, defects and failure analysis of medical devices using computers.
- Computer animation and state-of-the-art computer graphics, CAD/CAM.
- Laboratory testing of material and product.
- Diagnosis and analysis of accident causation, reconstruction and fact finding of all products.
